North by Northwest (1959)

North by Northwest was basically Alfred Hitchcock's attempt at making a James Bond film. And you know what, Cary Grant could easily have succeeded as a Bond. Here's a why.

He plays it cool in a disguise.

He's great at escaping dangerous situations.

He's good at finding clues. Like when he rubbed the side of a pencil on this paper to see the indentations of the note written on the previous sheet.

He likes his liquor.

He's willing to put himself at risk.

He's smooth AF

Sometimes not so smooth.

He basically blew up a plane with a truck. Or a truck with a plane.

He even looks like a Bond.
