Dr. No (1962)

Here's the thing about James Bond films. While I love them, I usually have no idea what's going on. The music's great, he's suave, it's got good action sequences, but I've watched Casino Royale twice and still don't know what it's about. That's how I felt watching Dr. No.

So let's focus on why it was enjoyable.

First of all, watching the first James Bond intro sequence was a DELIGHT.

Then James Bond's second line in the entire series is "Bond, James Bond." Which, by the way, he says that way because the woman at the table just introduced herself as "French, Silvia French."

And of course there's the original James Bond theme. They must have played it at least 10 times. Seriously, so much fun every time it came on.

And here's a collection of some of my favorite shots from the film.
